Lazarus, a Director and the lead consultant at Penplan Services Limited. He holds a CPA (K), BCom (Accounting) and Financial Adviser certificate from the Pensions Management Institute (UK) and Trustee Proficiency Certificate. Lazarus has over 30 years of financial experience and over 15 years pensions experience. Lazarus is a pension expert focusing on Strategic Planning, Risk management, Governance, trustee training, scheme conversion as well as setting up new pension schemes.
Lazarus has led various consultancy teams in undertaking various pension projects for several public organizations including Kenya Airports Authority; Kenyatta National Hospital, Vivo Energy, Kenya Orient Life Insurance Company, Kenya Seed Company, TSC and JKUAT University. He is extremely experienced and knowledgeable in the Governance Review and Strategic Planning for Pension Schemes
Lilian is the assistant consultant at Penplan Services with over 8 years of both local and international experience in Financial Management Consulting of which 5 years are in the pensions industry. She holds a Master of Science in corporate financial Management from the GISMA Business School in Germany and a Bachelor of Commerce - Finance degree from Strathmore University. She is also a certified Financial Analyst registered with the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts in Kenya. She also holds a trustee toolkit certificate from the UK pensions Regulator.
Lilian has been part of various consultancy teams in the undertaking of various pension projects for a number of public organizations including Kenya Airports Authority; KARLO, KNH, JKUAT university and Kenya Orient Life Insurance Company. She is experienced and knowledgeable in Governance Review and Strategic Planning for Pension Schemes.
Mr. Anthony Munyao has been a director at Penplan Services since 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Economics & Business Studies from Kenyatta University and an MBA in Strategic Management from University of Nairobi. He is also a CPA (K) and Certified trustee. He has over 20years experience in various industries, having previously worked in Vivo, Ernest & Young Kenya, Agip (K), Shell and KPRL in which he held senior positions. He is currently involved in financial consultancy with focus in Pension's Management and Governance.
Mr. Ezekiel Macharia has been a director at Penplan services since 2011. He holds a BSc. Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi. He is a Fellow of the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries (UK). He has eight years of experience working in actuarial and risk management work in the African insurance market. He has previously worked as the group actuary for Jubilee Insurance and is currently the appointed actuary at Jubilee. He has also worked for ACTSERV as an Actuarial Consultant. He is currently the Chief Actuary & Managing Director of Kenbright Actuarial & Financial Services Limited (KAFS), where he heads the actuarial & broking business.
Mrs. Florence Muema has been a director at Penplan Services since 2011. She holds an MBA from the University of London and an MBA in International Management from the Associate Chartered Institute of Bankers, UK. She also holds the Associateship (ACIB), awarded by the Institute of financial services (IFS), in the UK and has attended several trainings offered by Standard Bank Group. She has almost 20 years of experience in the banking and investment sector having worked for Standard Chartered Bank Group, Loita Capital Partners Kenya and is currently working at Stanbic Bank Ltd as the Credit Evaluation Manager.
