Alphonse Gonzales is business development manager of Primo Contractors, Incorporated (formerly 4 Aces Excavation and Concrete). He reports directly to the owner; his responsibilities include coordinating marketing and business development plans of the company in pursuit of prospective private and institutional clients; and he assists the owner in various internal and external administrative matters.

Jesus F. Alvarez - Founder

Jesus Alvarez is the founder and sole owner of Primo Contractors Incorporated (formerly known as 4 Aces Excavation and Concrete). Jesus is responsible for the company's day-to-day operations, from administrative and field operations to all financial decisions. He personally manages and controls all marketing, business development, strategic planning, decisions regarding insurance, contracts, hiring and firing, estimating and scheduling, and field operations management. Jesus also oversees the implementation of all company policies and procedures. Jesus has been active in new and rehab construction for more than 15 years. He started in the field as a laborer before personally learning several trades, including carpentry, window installation, concrete installation and finishing, and floor installation. For the past 10 years, Jesus also developed his field and management skills working as a field supervisor, superintendent and project manager. He has worked on major public sector projects totaling a combined value of more than $600 million, including work for the City of Chicago Department of Aviation at O'Hare Airport and Midway Airport; the City of Chicago Department of Transportation at various locations in the city; the Cook County construction of the new John Stroger Hospital; the Public Building Commission of Chicago's construction of the historic Bronzeville Military Academy and other schools; the Chicago Public Schools' Task Order Improvement Program and the Capital Improvement Program, including the construction of new schools; and work for the Water Reclamation District, and the Museum of Science & Industry. Jesus has worked extensively in the private sector including complete new construction, rehab,and buildout projects for the Catholic Charities of Chicago, major manufacturing companies such as Hoffmeister Food Products; Riverside Homes, LLC; 51 st Street Homes, LLC; and private property owners. In 2009, Jesus incorporated 4 Aces - recently changing the name to Primo Contractors, Incorporated -- which in the past two years has successfully completed numerous projects in the Chicagoland market.
