PUSH AND PULL PILATES

Clare grew up in Southern Oregon and is now making her home in Portland after almost 20 years away from the west coast. As a student of the American Conservatory Theater Master of Fine Arts Program, she found Pilates to help support her studies in Alexander Technique, movement and physical theater. Later, as a professional actor in New York she discovered the rehabilitative power of Pilates as she worked to come back from a debilitating injury... Clare is certified in both Mat and all Apparatus Pilates through the internationally recognized Kane School of Core Integration in NYC. She trained directly under Kelly Kane and Matt McCulloch at the Kane School/Kinected Pilates Studio and was soon after asked to join the Kinected staff and became a Kane School Teacher Trainer in 2012. She simultaneously opened the first incarnation of the Push and Pull Pilates studio in her home in Brooklyn, NY
