RIVERSIDE BOWL STUDIO

Riverside Bowl Studio is located in Durham, North Carolina. We specialize in creating bowls and other turnings from eastern hardwoods. Most trees are salvaged after they come down in a storm. We typically use oak, cherry, walnut, maple, hickory, and elm. Our products include large salad and fruit bowls, smaller specialty bowls, peppermills, vases, pens, and lamp and candle holders. Custom work available upon request... Riverside bowls are made by hand on a large Oneway wood lathe. Each bowl is unique in design, characteristics of the wood, and finish. All bowls are finished with a food-safe wood preservative such as butcher block oil, tung oil, or similar products. Bowls can be used for serving salad, storing fruit and nuts, and similar kitchen activities.
