Ms. Monica M. Morgan is a native of Brazoria County, Texas. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Management-Human Resources/Labor Relations. She completed graduate coursework at Eastern Michigan University in the Master's of Science-Human Resources/Organization Development program. She attended South Texas College of Law, where she obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence. Ms. Morgan maintains an active license in the State Bar of Texas. She is a certified Mediator in the state of Texas. She is currently a member of the Texas Bar Association, Harris County Democratic Lawyers Association, Mexican American Bar Association-Houston. Ms. Morgan currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Annie's List. She is the Vice President of the Hispanic Alumni Chapter of South Texas College of Law Houston. She has previously served as a Director and Vice Chair for Administration for the Pearland Chamber of Commerce from 2007-2010 and is active in several other community organizations.
