Chances are, if you've had a piece of wonderful wedding cake in Monterey County at some point in the last two decades, it was made by Alex Castellanos..... In his 20 year career as an award-winning baker on the Monterey Peninsula, Alex has created nearly one thousand wedding cakes! Before branching out and starting his own bakery in 2006, Alex received his pedigree in fine European-style baking as the Main Baker at several of the county's better bakeries (Paris Bakery, Patisserie Beachler and Pastelo Bakery). His wife and business partner Olga, whom he met when they worked together at Patisserie Beachler nine years ago, also has over a decade of experience in the bakery business.
