Charles R. Arkin

Dr. Arkin has been practicing Rheumatology in Memphis since 1969. A graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Dr. Arkin received his fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is Board Certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians. He is also active in the American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association and the Memphis/Shelby County Medical Association. He has served as the President and Chairman of the Board of the Memphis Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. He has been the Chief of Staff and President of the Medical Staff at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Dr. Arkin is an avid University of Memphis Tiger Basketball fan and assists with the team physicals each year. He enjoys singing in the choir at his church, St. Francis of Assisi. He and his wife, Carole, have two grown children and two grandchildren. Dr. and Mrs. Arkin enjoy traveling and spending time with their family.

David Boatright

Dr. Boatright, a native of Jackson, Tennessee, joined Rheumatology & Osteoporosis Center of Memphis, PC in July 2005. He graduated from Union University with a degree in chemistry. Dr. Boatright received his medical degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in 2000. He completed his internship and residency at UTHSC. In 2005, he completed the Gerwin Endowed Fellowship in Rheumatology and Metabolic Bone, also at UTHSC, working extensively with Dr. Laura Carbone. Dr. Boatright is Board Certified in rheumatology and is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He is on the Board of the Tennessee State Rheumatology Society. He is a Clinical Assistant Professior of Medicine at the University of Tennessee, lecturing both in the College of Allied Health and Division Of Rheumatology. Dr. Boatright enjoys jazz, cooking, and the comforts of home. He truly loves spending quality time with his wife, Candice, and three sons.

Hugh Holt

Dr. Holt has been practicing rheumatology since 1992. He received his medical degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) and traveled to Texas for his internship and residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. Holt then returned to Memphis and completed his rheumatology fellowship at UTHSC. Dr. Holt joined Rheumatology & Osteoporosis Center of Memphis, PC in January 2009. Dr. Holt is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He is an active member of the Tennessee Medical Association and Memphis/Shelby County Medical Association. Dr. Holt and his wife, Lisa, have two children and are active members of Church of the Holy Communion. Dr. Holt is an avid runner and enjoys an occasional triathlon.

Yamini Menon

Dr. Menon has been practicing rheumatology since 2003. She received her medical degree from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, India in 1994. She completed her 3 year medical residency program at New York Medical College, NY in 2000 and enrolled in the Rheumatology Fellowship program at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA in 2003. Following her graduation from the rheumatology program, she worked as a rheumatologist at the Oschner Clinic Foundation, New Orleans. Dr. Menon moved to Memphis in 2006 and served as rheumatology faculty at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and joined Rheumatology & Osteoporosis Center of Memphis in September 2012. She is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. She and her husband Satheesh, have two sons. Dr. Menon enjoys spending time with her family. She also takes part in local Indian cultural programs, including Indian dance. Her other hobbies include drawing and painting.
