SHADY LAKES

In 2020 Vara Winery & Distillery acquired Shady Lakes with the intention of preserving and revitalizing the lakes, while also building an exciting new winery, distillery and hospitality space for the community of Albuquerque and all who come to visit New Mexico. For both safety and permitting reasons, the property will be closed to the public while it is under rehabilitation and construction. As updates become available we will post them here. We hope to welcome our neighbors and the families that love Shady Lakes back to the new Vara Winery & Distillery property soon.
