Serenity Hospice was founded over 10 years ago with the goal of providing hospice care to veterans. In fact, in their first year, Serenity only cared for veteran patients. Quickly, Serenity grew in size and began serving the larger Portland community. The origin of the organization was a grass roots operation and some of the original teammates remain to this day. Soon enough the team realized that there was a need for expanded hospice care in Salem and branched out to the South... Our mission is to provide exceptional physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support, enabling patients and their loved ones to have an end-of-life experience characterized by dignity, choice and comfort...
