PBIS

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a school-wide system for creating a safe, effective learning environment for all students. Students are being taught the Eagle Code, which includes demonstrating Duty, Honor, Peace and Pride at South Middle School. Expected behaviors are taught in all four areas, in all settings. PBIS methods are research-based and proven to significantly reduce the occurrence of problem behaviors in schools... Eagle Bucks- earned for good test grades, reading logs, appropriate behavior, etc can be used to purchase items at the quarterly Eagle Buck Auction
