Spital House Cottages consist of three cottages within the grounds of a private country house estate. We are situated about one mile from the village of Paxton, two miles from the Scottish / English border and only a few miles from the ancient walled town of Berwick upon Tweed... Perfect for fishing, cycling and walking, we are within easy driving distance of world heritage beaches, nature reserves, fishing villages and charming market towns... We are in an ideal position to explore the beautiful borders countryside and the magnificent Northumbrian coastline. The area is known worldwide for being the home of literally hundreds of castles, pele towers, abbeys and country houses.
