DAMON LAU

I am currently studying architecture at Columbia University GSAPP, seeking a Masters in Architecture. This is now my third and last year of graduate school where I am participating in the Monograph Studio, creating a building every week and eventually compiling a 400 page monograph of my own architectural obsessions. In addition to continuing my work on parametrics (including research into evolutionary computation in solving complex architectural and structural problems, parametrics in renaissance architecture ie. Piranesi, Guilio Romano), scripting swarm intelligence for use in architecture, as well as an air-lab on Mars. Currently I am working with fellow classmates Kim Nguyen, Rebecca Mariott, and Cheng Lee for a GE Imagination at Work academic grant that we won with our Visualization Marathon 2011 entry E-Cube-Librium...
