KIDS' PLACE - Key Persons
Eve has been in the Early Childhood field since 1990. She started off as an aide at The Kids' Place and has worked her way up to administration. She has worked at all 6 of our locations either as teaching staff or administration. Eve has a BA in Human Services from Springfield College. She was a social worker for DCF for one year and a foster parent for 5 years for up to 5 children at a time. Eve adopted two boys, one at 18 months the other at 2 years old. They are now 10 & 13 years old. She takes great pride in being part of a child's growth & development and has a special place in her heart for special needs children, who are in need of a little more structure and a lot more love. Eve has high standards for the staff that work for the company and the care they provide you and your children. She maintains an open door policy and invites parents to speak to her about any concerns they may have as well as any praise they would like to share about the company or teachers.

Jillian over 2 years of childcare experience, including 2 years as the Director at a NAEYC accredited pre-school in Hawaii. She has a Bachelor's degree in Child Psychology and a Masters degree in Education. Jillian has been an administrator with The Kid's Place since 2010 and her children have attended our schools for the past 8 years. In her free time she likes to be outdoors, read, spend time with her family, go to the beach and watch movies.
Lori holds a Bachelor's degree in liberal studies/psychology and has been working int he field of early childhood education for 20 years. She began as a teacher's aide in a classroom and as she furthered her education became a classroom teacher and eventually an administrator. She has been a director with The Kids' Place since 2015 and enjoys all aspects of her position. Lori gains the most pleasure from building meaningful and lasting relationships with the families and children that we serve. In her free time she enjoys camping, watching football and cooking.

Melissa Renaud, the director of our East Longmeadow location, has been an employee of The Kids' Place since 2016. She has had the great pleasure of working in the education field for 12 years, and looks forward to many more years to come. She is currently completing her Bachelor's degree in Human Services and upon completion will immediately begin her Master's program in Juvenile Behavior Therapy. Melissa is lucky to say that she married her high school sweetheart and has 2 beautiful daughters. In her free time she likes to read and spend time with her family.
Ruth has been working in the early childhood field for 20 years. She is a graduate of both Springfield College and A.I.C. She has a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. She also worked in the Springfield public school system for 10 years and has spent the past 7 years as an administrator with The Kids' Place.
