Our founder and Instructor Emeritus, John Lacaria, started Texas Firearm Academy as an Austin-based organization that strives to provide a safe, rewarding, and fun firearm education experience. John is committed to teaching the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for a lifetime of safe, enjoyable, and successful firearm ownership.
