The United States Patent number US 7,931,340 BI is for design of furniture types, starting with a combination of metal struts to form equilateral tetrahedra and pentahedra supporting cushion coverings fabricated in leather or vinyl in such a way as to create very attractive, comfortable and unusual designs. These include contemporary furniture of various descriptions as explained in the Examples below.
