The Board, Administration and Faculty of Thomas Heyward Academy believe learning can be rewarding and exciting, but not without effort. Students acquiring skills, concepts and information necessary to master a course must put forth effort. Our goal is not to entertain children: parents can do so far more cheaply than sending them to Thomas Heyward Academy... One of the greatest lesson we can teach our children is to compete, to the best of their ability, at all times. The world our children will enter is more competitive than ever.
