THZ PHOTOELECTRONICS LAB

Terahertz Photoelectronics Research Group was founded by Dr. Neshat at the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of Tehran. Our research has been focused on the emerging field of Terahertz (THz) and mmWave technologies with the emphasis on developing enabling tools for novel applications. THz technology is a fast-growing field that offers unique opportunities for a wide range of applications in imaging, radio astronomy, spectroscopy for complex bio-molecules and drugs, sensing, and extreme bandwidth radio communications. Our goal is to develop high performance terahertz/mmWave generation/detection, guidance and manupulation techniques that are suitable for low-cost and compact terahertz/mmWave devices and systems.
