Carla M. Tibbitts

Carla Tibbitts is a trusted advisor and results-oriented leader with a track record of proven success in creating and guiding complex organizations to deliver significant financial benefits in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, commercial, supply chain, and special project areas. She brings more than 25 years of industry and consulting experience particularly in the chemical, refining and energy industries. Carla has excellent analytical and communication skills and a keen ability to discern key issues and act on them quickly and effectively. Carla has served as an advisor on mergers and acquisitions, strategy development and implementation, and performance improvement, including: Advising Private Equity and corporate clients on acquisitions including target identification, evaluation, due diligence, negotiations and post-close separation for acquisitions of up to $2 billion. Developing growth strategies for a multi-billion-dollar company including market analysis and specific implementation plans. Serving as Interim VP, Sourcing & Logistics for a packaging company carve-out from a chemical industry major, designing and establishing a stand-alone supply chain strategy and organization as well as identifying and implementing significant sourcing savings. Previously, Ms. Tibbitts served in several executive positions with LyondellBasell Industries. Her roles included Vice President, Ethylene Oxide and Derivatives, where she set strategy and direction for this $800 million global business and optimized the business portfolio. While leading Corporate Strategic Planning, she was responsible for the corporate long-range plan including business unit evaluation, internal growth assessment and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Tibbitts was a key member of the executive team driving and negotiating formation of LYONDELL-CITGO Refining Company, Ltd (LCR)., a $1.5 billion refining joint venture and was subsequently named Sr. Vice President of Lyondell Refining and member of the LCR management board. Ms. Tibbitts earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Houston.

Mark A. Tibbitts

Mark Tibbitts is a process control industry leader and expert with over 25 years' executive and technical experience in the chemical and refining industries. He takes pride in effectively developing and driving process control strategies and their implementation resulting in significant profitability enhancement, cost reduction, environmental and safety improvements. Mr. Tibbitts is also a well-recognized expert in operator effectiveness and human factors Prior to the founding of Triumph Advisory Group, Mr. Tibbitts led the business development activities for the Operations Effectiveness business line of PAS. Previously, Mark led the LyondellBasell Industries global control systems organization for 17 years where he drove the Advanced Control Program company-wide resulting in benefits in excess of $200MM per year. He provided the technical vision and leadership for a wide range of control technologies including RTO, APC, DCS, SIS, Process Analytical, Instrumentation and Electrical. Mr. Tibbitts also led organizational design and successful integration activities through multiple mergers and acquisitions and implemented an organizational model to deliver sustained results. Prior to LyondellBasell, Mr. Tibbitts held numerous control systems technical and management positions at Shell Oil Company. Mr. Tibbitts has earned a reputation throughout the industry as a visionary strategic leader who can develop and drive innovative improvements through to implementation. Mark has been a leader and featured speaker for numerous industry groups and featured in several publications including the Instrument Society of America, Automation World, Yokagama World-Wide, Texas Tech University Control Consortium, Purdue University Industrial Roundtable, ARC Advisory Group and InfoWorld. Mr. Tibbitts earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
