TYRONE EAGLE EYE NEWS - Key Persons
Abby Anthony is a sophomore and it is her first year being on the Eagle Eye staff. She is a member of the volleyball team. In her free time she enjoys hunting, fishing, hanging with her friends, and skiing at Blue Knob. After high school, she plans to get her real estate license and attend the University of Miami to get her degree in Criminal Justice to become a lawyer. Her favorite movies are Mean Girls, Soul Surfer, and Clueless. Her favorite places to eat are Chipotle, AKI, and Chick-fil-A. She hates Taco Bell. She hopes to cover volleyball and special events throughout the school year along with helping the TikTok/social media pages.
Aiden Coleman is a senior at Tyrone Area High School, and this is his first year on the Eagle Eye staff. He is on the varsity baseball team for Tyrone and helped lead them to a state championship in 2021. He plans on attending Penn State University to further his athletic and academic career as he is going to play baseball for them. Some of his hobbies include chilling with friends, golfing in his free time, and just hanging outside when the weather provides. This year Aiden would like to cover sports stories, and other current events happening around the school or town.
Andrew Weaver is a senior at Tyrone Area High School. This is his second year in Eagle Eye. Andrew loves to ride dirt bikes with friends in his free time. He is a tri-sport athlete and competes in wrestling, football, and track. Andrew's passion for Eagle Eye is podcasting. He listens to many famous podcasts and would one day like to start his own. His plans after high school are to go to college and or trade school. A fun fact about him is he admires Mark Wahlberg a lot. One dream of his is to sit down and have a burger with Mark at his restaurant, Wahlburger.
Hello, this is Ashlynn! She is a senior and this is her third and final year in Eagle Eye. She is very involved in her school community; she is an officer in YAN, a member of the Student Council, Golden Revolution, Prom Committee, NHS, Mock Trial, Quiz League, and Speech Team, and she is also on the tennis and swim teams. Often Ashlynn can be found with her camera, usually taking pictures at some sporting event. Ashlynn hopes to continue improving her photography skills and cover news stories that are important to the community. After high school, she plans to attend a four-year university with a major in biology in hopes of one day becoming a doctor.
Ashton is currently a junior at Tyrone Area High School. This is his first year in Eagle Eye. In his free time, he likes to hang out with his friends and family. After high school, he plans on attending college and continuing his athletic career. Ashton is a three-sport athlete who competes in football, basketball, and baseball. This year, he plans on writing meaningful stories on sports in the Eagle Eye with his friends. One of Ashton's dreams in life is to play college football at the Division 1 level. A fun fact about Ashton is he's easy to talk to and get along with.

Braden Ewing is a current junior at Tyrone Area High School. This is his first year on the Eagle Eye staff. Many of Braden's friends call him Jefe, a Spanish word translating to chief or boss. Braden is a tri-sport athlete who excels in the contact sports of football and wrestling (he also participates in the field events of track). Braden also participates in two school clubs: NHS and POPS Extension. After high school, Braden plans to attend college and continue his athletic career in wrestling and/or football. Braden also prides himself on being a stand-out student, by attending all honors (and dual enrollment) classes, and maintaining high honor roll.
Brady Ronan is a senior at Tyrone. This is his third year doing Eagle Eye and he is excited that he is doing this, as he is really interested in sports and taking pictures. After high school, he is planning on going to college. His favorite movie is Talladega Nights. He plays football, basketball, and runs track. He loves to meet and talk to new people and make new friends. He hopes that he can cover all of the sports and what is happening in the world today. A fun fact about him is that his favorite color is red and his favorite food is wings.
Brayden Sloss is a senior at Tyrone Area High School and this is his 4th year in Eagle Eye. He plays on the Varsity Tyrone Soccer. In Brayden's spare time he enjoys playing video games and creating videos for social media. After high school, Brayden plans to attend college and pursue a career in graphic design. His favorite movie is The Avengers and he also enjoys reading fiction books such as Harry Potter or Percy Jackson. This year, Brayden hopes to continue improving his video filming and editing for the Eagle Eye. He also likes writing for the Eagle Eye which he will be doing as well this year.
Caleb McKinney is in his first year in Eagle Eye Newspaper. Also is a senior tri-sport athlete. During the fall season, he plays left tackle for the Tyrone Golden Eagles for the second year. Then later in the winter, he will be wrestling also that spring doing some intense hardcore tennis which he was ranked 3rd for on the team. His favorite teams include the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Boston Celtics. My favorite color is orange. Also, he has a sister who is also in Eagle Eye. Fun fact, his twin sister is that person.
Colton Veres is in his first year of Eagle Eye and is a senior. His hobbies include video games, sports and hanging out with his buds. He is currently a starting wide receiver on the football team. He plans to go to college. His favorite music is Rap and Classic Rock. He plans on writing about sports this year and taking some photography here on Eagle Eye. He is interested in fashion trends. His goal for the year is to help the football team win games and get A's in the grade book. Fun fact about Colton: wherever he is, just know it's a good time.
Dean Grassi is a hard working guy and fun to be around. He spends his days in Tyrone High by playing Football, Wrestling, and Tennis and is going into his Senior year. He is a member of POPS as well. He is also Dawg Pound president along with his best bud Nick Lewis. Dean tries to spend time with friends and family while on break from his sports. He likes to metal detect, blacksmith, and have a good time. His future plans are to attend college while serving in the Army Reserves and then becoming an officer in the Army.
Dylon Brower is a senior in his third year of Eagle Eye who enjoys giving an inside view into the locker rooms of the sports he plays. Dylon is someone who takes pride in his skills, both on the football field and in anything else that he does. In his free time, Dylon likes to listen to various types of music, like classic rock, metal, or grunge. When not on the football field, or the track, you can probably find Dylon in the weight room trying to get BIG! Dylon is also an honors student who tries his best to get his work done, even if the work is grueling. Dylon makes an effort to complete tasks with precision, utilizing all the knowledge in his brain.

Hello, this is Elijah! He is a senior this year, his second year in the Eagle Eye. Some of his favorite activities are playing soccer and hanging out with friends and family. In his spare time, he also likes to play video games with his friends. His plans after high school are to attend college at Penn State, though he does not yet know what his major is going to be. He is also on the soccer and track teams for Tyrone. He is also a part of NHS and keeps his grades up the best he can. During his last year of high school and Eagle Eye, he hopes to write more sports stories and club stories. He also hopes to do a podcast at some point during the year. Some fun facts are that he likes to go out to eat all the time, especially to Chick-fil-A and Bullpen. This year, he hopes to also write stories that receive a Best of SNO.
Ellie Oakes is in her third & final year as a member of the renowned Eagle Eye News staff. As a senior, she is hoping to make her last year of high school the best one yet. She will continue to take a camera with her to a ridiculous amount of sporting events, but she also hopes to tackle some more writing and editing this year. She in involved in numerous clubs and is a member of the both the Swim team and the Class of '22 Powderpuff team. Following her graduation in June, Ellie will be pursuing a degree in Communications and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.

Grace is a sophomore at Tyrone Area High School. This is Grace's first year in Eagle Eye as a staff member. Grace plays softball and basketball. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. Grace likes writing about school sports and other fun activities within the school. Grace is a member of All Eagles, a club dedicated to student inclusion. She also is in the National Honor Society. Grace is a part of the Eagle Eye Yearbook. Her favorite subject in school is Math. When Grace gets out of high school, she wants to attend a 4-year college to be a teacher for Elementary Special Education students. Grace is excited to write stories!
Hailey Vanish is in her fourth and final year as a member of Tyrone Eagle Eye Newspaper. As she enters her senior year, she hopes to write more stories on community events and spotlights on Tyrone Alumni. Hailey is very involved in her school by participating in numerous clubs such as YAN, NHS, FBLA, Prom Committee, and Student Council. Her plans after high school are to study abroad and get her master's degree in Social Work. Outside of school, Hailey enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, and volunteering within her community. Hailey hopes to have an eventful senior year with her friends and make lots of lasting memories.
Hello my name is Haydn. I am a junior who wears five watches for no reason at all. I spend most of my time at home playing video games, listening to music or doing nothing. I still play with Legos on occasion, and I also have a small bottle cap collection with 83 in it, I think. Along with the bottle caps, I prefer to drink soda out of a glass bottle to collect said bottle caps. I have two dogs, one named Latte and the other's name is Echo. Along with the dogs there I also have five chickens that like to dig holes in the backyard for some reason.
Hello, this is Jason Barr, but everyone calls me Butch. This is my second year of Eagle Eye and am currently a senior here at Tyrone; this year I'm going out for three sports...Cross Country, Wrestling, and track. My hobbies include hunting, fishing and cars.
Katelyn Buck is a junior at Tyrone High this year. This is her first year in Eagle Eye. In addition to being a part of Eagle Eye, she is a part of Student Council, YAN, and POPS. Katie spends her free time hosting wheelchair races #byowc and hiding in the elevator at school. She likes playing volleyball with her friends and playing guitar. After high school, Katie plans on getting a full scholarship to the University of Phoenix for wheelchair racing. This year, Katie is very eager to write about sports and other current events happening in Tyrone.

Makenzie Soellner is a senior and this is her first year in Eagle Eye. She plays for the girl's varsity soccer team and spends most of her free time on the field with her teammates. When she's not playing soccer, she will most likely be listening to music or hanging out with her friends. Her favorite artists include Taylor Swift, The Backseat Lovers, Lizzy McAlpine, and Gracie Abrams. After she graduates, she plans on attending a four-year college to study education. Her two obsessions are shopping and getting Greenbean coffee with her friends. This year, she hopes to cover many stories about the girl's soccer team as well as the interesting things that are happening in the town.
Olivia is a junior at Tyrone Area High School. This is her first year in Tyrone Eagle Eye. Olivia also is in Yearbook, National Honor Society, and Golden Revolution. In her free time, she enjoys coaching for a tiny team at Volition Cheer All-Stars along with being on a dance team there. Olivia's favorite subject is English because she gets to write. She loves hanging out with friends and spending quality time with her family. She plans to write stories about what's going on in the school and local places. Olivia plans to attend college after high school for something related to media and journalism.
Stephanie Ramsey is currently a senior at Tyrone Area High School. This is Stephanie's first year on the Tyrone Eagle Eye News team. She is a studious student who takes her academics very seriously. On top of her schooling, she is a three sport athlete who is a member of the basketball, cross country, and track team. She is also very involved in her school by participating in numerous clubs: Student Council, YAN, NHS, and Golden Revolution. Her plans after high school are to continue her basketball career while majoring in Aerospace Engineering. In her free time, you will probably find her hanging out with friends or on a basketball court somewhere.
