Heya I'm Abby, I'm a masters student studying Applied Data Science and Statistics. As your events sec I'll be organising our varsity week (the best week of the year) which involves a fun run, pub quiz, swim gala and night out, amongst other things! I'll also be coordinating with other universities to organise a swimming trip for the club. Now that covid restrictions have eased I hope to plan an alumni get together so our EUSC legends can all catch up!

Hi, I'm Ally and I am a second-year Exercise and Sport Science student. I'm one of your vice-captains and welfare secretaries. My role includes working alongside Jack to assist Mel as club captain, and we will always be around if you guys need any guidance or advice. Hey, I am a 2nd year Geographer and a Vice-Captain for 2015/16 - Within the committee I will be working with Lydia to make sure that you are all happy at the club and also with Sam and the rest of the committee to make the club the best it can be! Hi, I'm Emma and I'm a second year Geography student. I am in charge of organising the team kit and merchandise to make us look fierce at competitions as well as showing off our amazing stash around campus!

My name is Esme and I'm in my third year studying English. I am your competition captain and will be organising club champs, BUCS teams and the BUSL galas. I will also be running BUCS training sessions in Exeter and on camps.
Garry has over 30 years experience of teaching and coaching people to swim. He has progressed through the Amateur Swimming Association training programme from preliminary teacher to ASA Coach; he holds a level 4 certificate in coaching swimming and is qualified as a level 3 personal trainer.
Over the past 20 years, Garry has held a number of Head Coach positions and produced swimmers who have competed at national and international level both in swimming and triathlon. He is currently the head coach of Dawlish Swimming Club in Devon; a position he's held since 2009.

Hi I'm Jack and I'm a second year Maths student. I'll be supporting Mel in making sure the training sessions and other aspects of the club run smoothly. I will be particularly focused on the performance aspect of our club to really encourage talented swimmers to improve further.

Hi Everyone! I'm a 3rd year Geography student and will be your club secretary for the next academic year. I will update people on the events and successes of the club via social media, newsletters and the website. Jo John is an ASA qualified coach who has been involved with swimming for over 40 years as a swimmer, teacher and coach. Her own swimming career culminated in winning a Silver and a Bronze medal at the World Masters Championships in Portland, Oregon.
Prior to becoming head coach at Exeter City Swimming Club she worked for the ASA as a Talent Development Officer - involved in organising and running training camps, coach education, mentoring coaches, assessing swimmers and coaches and working with clubs.
Jo is regarded as one of the finest coaches in the country.

Hey, I'm Lauren, a second year Marketing & Management Student. My role as publicity sec involves making sure that all the social media pages are up-to-date and that key information is passed onto the team. I will also be working closely with sponsors, and constantly looking out for new companies to collaborate with.

Hi I'm Lydia, a third year Mathematics student and one of your Vice Captains for the year. My role is to be involved in the general running of this fantastic club from the guidance of Sam and the rest of the committee. Our coach Nye Levett is the founder of NL - Wellness, a personal training, swimming coaching and nutritional company based in Exeter. He is also a former EUSC member, training with the club for 3 years. Nye is committed to providing an enjoyable, functional and scientific approach to training. He believes in helping his clients achieve their goals safely in the most productive, fastest and most structured way possible. This is achieved by providing tailored fitness training, nutritional and lifestyle advice.
Nye provides the club with his expertise through, writing every training set as well as providing regular video analysis and nutrition talks.

Hi, I'm Ollie, I am a fourth year Economics student and your Treasurer for 2021/22. My role is to help manage the clubs finances and ensure that we stick to our yearly budget. I am looking forward to securing new equipment and helping to make the club run smoothly.

Hi, I'm a 4th year mechanical engineering student and my role within the committee is to manage the clubs finances by assigning budgets, authorising all payments and keeping track of the clubs transactions. Anything spent by the club must go through me for approval first so we don't overspend and everyone has a most excellent time. Hi, I'm Oscar and one of your Social Secs, this year I'm looking forward to some wild Wednesdays nights, but its not just about how fast you can chop pints but also creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere during socials and even training. Surprisingly, I'm almost more excited to return to the pool, well maybe not St Luke's.. but the new leisure centre seems pretty cool, hopefully it will be built in time for at least a couple training sessions this year…
