Professionally, Vidya is especially known for her ability to harmoniously collaborate with designers, architects, and clients alike to co-create the timeless art and decorative effects they desire, and be on time and within budget. She is also a recognized teacher of meditation, and of studio fine art and decorative art. In 2011, Vidya was awarded two competitive art commissions for the new Santa Barbara Airport Terminal; and in 2012, her work was published in: The California Casa, by Rizzoli Publications, which features the noted photography of Melba Levick... Santa Barbara muralist and decorative fine artist Vidya Gauci expertly creates painted installations, murals, trompe l'oeil, stenciling, hand painted fabric, furniture, and faux finishes.
