Greg resigned as head swim coach in 2001, to focus on youth ministry and his family. Greg started the Waves Swim School and grew it as an elite private swimming school as a means to continue his passion. Greg and his wife Kerri stayed in Jacksonville one more year, until they moved back home to raise a family and continue the swim school in his hometown of Columbia, SC.
