Dr. J. Christopher Eyke

Treatment plans are developed to address each patient's individual needs, and Dr. Eyke's recommendations may include surgical or non-surgical courses of treatment such as physical therapy, pain medication or spinal injections.

Dr. John W. Hawkins

Dr. Hawkins is a physical medicine/rehabilitation and sports medicine specialist who diagnoses and treats back, neck and peripheral joint disorders, as well as common sport-associated injuries and nerve and muscle disorders. He performs interventional spine procedures including epidurals, radiofrequency neurotomy and spinal cord stimulator trials, and is experienced in regenerative medicine procedures such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapies. He also performs image-guided joint injections for shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at Michigan State University where he cared for athletes from all sports as well as a local running clinic. He has experience taking care of athletes ranging from elementary school children to professionals and seniors.

Dr. Katie McCausland

Dr. McCausland is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist who focuses on the non-operative treatment of bone, muscle and nerve issues, particularly in the back and neck.

Dr. Reginald W. Kapteyn

Job Titles:

Dr. Kapteyn is an interventional physiatrist specializing in management of painful conditions of tendons, joints, muscles, nerves, and all sports and spinal related conditions. Kapteyn utilizes multi-disciplinary, non-operative techniques, or micro-invasive operative management of these conditions to decrease pain and improve function. A conservative, balanced approach is the hallmark of his care. A specialist in both diagnostic ultrasound and image guided ultrasound, Kapteyn performs micro-invasive carpal tunnel releases. Ultrasound guided tenotomy can be performed for chronic tendon pain. When appropriate, regenerative treatments are considered, including stem cell injections, and prolotherapy, and dry needling. He utilizes EMG for neuromuscular diagnosis, and also performs Botox for limb spasticity as well as migraine headaches. He also performs neurolytic injections for pain or spasticity, including phenol. Peripheral nerve stimulation is utilized for peripheral nerve injury or refractory joint pain. For the spine, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulator, and pain pumps may be options for treatment.

Dr. Yousif I. Hamati

Dr. Hamati specializes in the surgical and non-surgical repair of hips, knees, shoulders and the spine, as well as the replacement of hips and knees. Patients may be experiencing chronic joint pain, low back pain or discomfort from a spinal deformity, or pain due to a previously failed joint replacement procedure. In addition to surgical procedures, he applies non-surgical techniques to treat everything from sports injuries to congenital disorders such as scoliosis, and degenerative diseases affecting the bones and their surrounding muscles and joints.
