Baaba Adu Safo

Baaba is an Executive Director at Omega Capital Limited with the mandate of growing the Real Estate Business of the Company. In addition, she also manages pension and corporate funds for Institutions. Baaba has over 9 years' experience across the breath of Fund Management & Investment Banking. She brings valuable skills and capabilities to this role having previously worked at Databank Asset Management Limited as Head of Institutional Funds. Baaba was in charge of managing Pension and Provident Funds, Endowments, Foundations and Corporates Funds. At Databank, Baaba managed funds in excess of over $70 million Baaba also served on the Board of Trustees of the Ghana Medical Association Provident Fund providing valuable technical advice to the Board. Baaba holds a Firsts Degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) with first class honours, from the University of Ghana Business School and an MSc. Finance from the University of Durham, in the U.K. She has also attended professional development programs in Risk in Asset Management, Bond Market Development, Fund Management Strategies and Capital Market Development organized by EUROMONEY, Ghana Stock Exchange and United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), respectively.

Felicia Joan Asabea Oppong

Felicia Joan Asabea Oppong is the Executive Director of Institutional Funds at Omega Capital Ltd. She has the mandate of growing the Mutual Fund and Pension Business of the Company. Joan started her career in the Ghanaian Investment Banking Industry with Databank Asset Management in 2004 where she worked for 7 years. During her time at Databank, she managed several portfolios with particular focus on the high net worth portfolios, institutional and mutual funds. She was also the portfolio manager for Databank Balanced Fund during her time with the company. Joan joined Ecobank Capital (EDC Investments Ltd) in 2011 as a portfolio manager and Senior investment officer where she managed Pension, Provident and Endowment Funds as well as the EDC Ghana Balanced Fund. She is an experienced Fund Manager with over nine years experience in Investment Banking and has managed funds worth $35million. She holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) in Finance and a B.sc Administration in Banking and Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon. She has also attended professional development programs in Marketing and Selling Financial Services, Credit Analysis, and Portfolio and Investment Management organized by EUROMONEY and Ghana Stock Exchange respectively.

Nana Kumapremereh Nketiah - CEO

Nana Kumapremereh Nketiah is the CEO of Omega Capital Limited. Nana is an experienced strategist, corporate revivalist and research consultant with particular expertise and experience in private equity/venture capital, hedge funds, real estate and investment management industries. Nana worked with Databank Asset Management as the Head of Real Estate and Institutional Fund. For over seven years he fronted real estate's projects, product development, stock valuation and correlation for portfolio managers. He was very instrumental in building the Asset Management business of Databank.

Sophia Obeng-Aboagye

Sophia Obeng-Aboagye is the Executive Director of Business Development at Omega Capital Limited and her responsibility is accelerating the growth of the entire business of Omega. She is also responsible for managing the fixed income sub division of Omega. She has over 8 years of experience in the area of Fixed Income and Investment Banking. Prior to joining Omega, Sophia worked with Databank Brokerage Limited, a subsidiary of Databank Financial Services in a number of capacities. She worked as Acting Head of Fixed Income where she played a principal role of growing and building the fixed income arm of Databank. She also played a pioneering role in building the premier Databank fixed income software. Sophia was the Head of Origination and Placement with Databank Brokerage Limited, where she spearheaded debt management and product development as well as implementing tremendous strategies to manage, develop and grow the high net worth portfolio. She also served the Databank Foundation as mentor and role model, where she counseled several students from the University of Ghana. She is a lecturer of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Institute of Distance Learning. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast and an MBA from the University of Southampton in the UK. She has also undertaken various courses in Risk Management, Asset and Liability Management, Bonds Management, Corporate Finance, Capital Market Development and Regulation as well as E-Learning Money Market Courses. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
