The Practice was founded in Liverpool in 1935 by Mr. John Youdan Briggs, who was a founder member and past National President of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Mr Briggs died in 1963 but the firm remains based in Liverpool... Although forward looking, fully computerised and embracing new technology wherever appropriate, the firm adheres very strongly to the traditional ideals of integrity and professional service. It is our policy to prepare quantities wherever appropriate as it is our belief that this provides the best value for money for our clients.
