Carpe Vinum is non-profit corporation based in South Florida. Proceeds from events going to the scholarship program for students at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Our motto is "All About the Wine" and our focus is on 90 point or higher rated wines... Through a system of a board of directors, an executive director, regional vice presidents, and chapter chairmen, Carpe Vinum has established an organization of wine appreciators interested in learning more about the history, production, appreciation, and enjoyment of wines. Through recent years, the members with an avid interest in wines and the wine culture have made the group an interesting and valuable organization for all wine lovers... Founded in 2001, Carpe Vinum hosts monthly educational wine tasting events to explore unique and highly rated wines. Our goal is to share educational information to learn about wine and wine producing regions around the world. Each wine is paired with appropriate foods to enhance the wine..
