I've always been drawn to a good story. I was an English + Studio Art major before I discovered and fell in love with Design at UC Davis. In the early stages of finding myself as a designer, I quickly learned that the thinking and process behind writing a story or creating a piece of art was very similar to that of the Design Process. It's an evolving journey that unravels itself as we learn and gain new perspectives. It's iterating, failing, and trying again through a new lens... Design has the power to shape our world, and that's a huge responsibility. I believe that a successful design stems from a desire to make things better for real people and our design process should strive tell the good story of how we got there.
