Jason W. Darling

Jason Darling owns and manages Darling Forestry, LLC. I grew up in the Mason, MI area and received my bachelor's degree in Forestry and a professional certificate in Watershed Management from Michigan State University. During my time at MSU, I was actively involved in the Forestry Department helping initiate and organize maple syrup production. I also accelerated my knowledge of the Christmas tree industry by contributing in several research projects dealing with nutrient demands in Frasier fir. I have worked at various Forestry agencies at the state, federal and private levels throughout Michigan and have the experience to meet any and all of your land management needs. I specialize in several aspects of land management. I have many years of experience managing large scale Christmas tree plantations and tailored skills managing woodlots for maple syrup production. The primary focus of my experience has been within the traditional field of Forestry. I have spent my career inventorying forested land, marking timber, writing timber sale proposals and timber sale administration. Realizing the ecological importance of watershed protection I chose to enhance my knowledge about watershed management by seeking out a professional watershed certificate through Michigan State University. Maintaining a healthy forested system or grassland is essential to ensure watershed integrity and water quality; I have the utilities to install watershed buffers via grasses or planted trees. Forest management activities have the potential to hinder watershed quality, however if you seek the professional assistance of Darling Forestry, LLC you can sustainably manage your land while ensuring the overall health of your ecosystem. I sincerely appreciate your time and want to thank you for visiting my website. I encourage you to contact me with any questions about your land management needs. I would love to have a personal conversation about your land management goals and objectives.
