KYUNGMIN

Kyungmin works on sculpture and spatial installation consist of multidisciplinary collage, digital imagery and creative writing. Her reserach practice focuses on posthuman discourse, environmentalism, post-Anthropocene and urgent climate change amid the ever growing techno-sphere on the surface of environmental decay. Kyungmin elaborates the status of ‘becoming' within human and non-human relationships, traversing their expanded meaning within contemporary phenomena. Kyungmin endeavour to dismantle the social and political impact of an ever-expanding techno industry and explore the entanglement of nature, energy cycles and mystery and their transgressing realms and status, from terrestrial to planetary scale.
