Amanda Willis

Amanda is an experienced project leader in food and beverage applications. She has significant expertise with gable-top carton packaging technology from mill to commercial filling operations. Amanda has significant experience with bottle, folding carton, thermoformed trays, flexible films in the areas of materials evaluations, productivity improvement and overall qualification of packaging materials and systems, Amanda has considerable experience working closely with suppliers to deliver improved packaging performance and related efficiency. Amanda has extensive experience on the plant floor in all environments; pilot plant, contract manufacturing and commercial manufacturing.

Chris Sinclair

Job Titles:

Chris is a well rounded professional with a strong consumer products background with functional experience in packaging development, system engineering, quality assurance and procurement. Chris has successfully led critical packaging projects for brands such as Tropicana Pure Premium, Betty Crocker, Big G Cereals, GP Towel & Tissue Brands and Wesson Oil through materials development, packaging design and understanding the package / equipment interface. Chris is intimate with supply chain and manufacturing performance requirements which bolsters his background as a skilled senior project manager along with his skills in coordinating and leading resource teams to best deliver results for our customers.

Danny Beard

Danny's extensive experience spans all phases of flexible packaging; including extrusion, laminating, coating and printing, along with all aspects of bag & pouch forming and converting operations. Danny's experience is highlighted by a deep knowledge of liquid flexible packaging. As part of the liquid packaging focus, Danny has extensive experience in injection molded caps and fitments along with expertise in aseptic processing and filling operations. Danny's career includes work across the flexible packaging converting industry, including; Printpack, American Packaging and Scholle following his work at Eastman. Danny has proven abilities to lead multi-functional development and implementation teams across numerous sites simultaneously. Danny has also been successful in designing and executing material enhancements resulting in longer shelf life and improved distribution performance. Danny keeps his finger on the pulse of the industry through frequent speeches at industry technical conferences and the IoPP Consultants Council.

Davide Friedman

Davide is a recognized leader in paperboard and corrugated technology who has practical experience across the entire packaging supply chain. Davide has demonstrated industry leadership in retail ready and structural development of merchandising and display ready packaging designs. Davide is also well-known for his skills in designing and implementing distribution damage reduction programs. Davide is an active member of TAPPI, ASTM and FTA.

Don Greenwood

Job Titles:

Don has been responsible for packaging strategy development and implementation for consumer foods and beverage brands like Betty Crocker and Tropicana Pure Premium. Don's experience spans a broad range of packaging technologies and materials beginning his career with Eastman and continuing with the converter Sonoco, before moving onto the consumer foods industry. Don has particular expertise in bottle, pouch and microwave technologies. Don continues to be a trusted resource within the food industry through strong capability in identifying, forming and leading challenging packaging strategy development teams. Don also excels at forming and leading complex project implementations along with new technology assessments and applications.

Pete Walters

Pete has many years in senior leadership positions with firms that are found across the packaging supply chain. On the supplier-side of the industry, Pete has led product innovation and development efforts for a variety of products: aerosols, fine mist pumps, lotion pumps, closures, flexible packaging, injection molded components and containers. On the user-side of the industry, Pete has led innovation and development projects for closures, containers, frozen meals, retortable packages and flexible packaging. Pete is particularly adept at idea/concept generation, rapid prototyping and concept realization through leading teams through idea creation, concept sketching, CAD, concept realization, material selection, product validation, mold and machinery identification, project management and problem solving. Pete holistically approaches all innovation projects as he marries the areas of consumer-preferred design and function with manufacturability and cost effectiveness. Along with his innovation focus, Pete also has completed Lean Manufacturing assessments and performed Problem Solving, Decision Analysis, and Finite Mode and Effects Analysis projects and training for clients. Pete holds 35 U.S. patents and is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers, CSPA, IDSA, and ASTM. Machelle Stockwell 20+ Years Experience Machelle has a proven track record in successfully developing innovative and functional packaging for consumer goods, foods and beverages. Machelle has worked across the supply chain including corporate headquarters, R&D centers and in manufacturing plants. Machelle is highly skilled in working with vendors to design, produce and implement new, creative packaging solutions utilizing rigid and flexible plastics, paperboard, metal and glass packaging. Machelle is a strong and experienced project leader that consistently delivers results for her clients. Scott Kuiken 20+ Years Experience Scott has considerable experience in the development and implementation of food and beverage packaging. Scott's expertise extends from folding cartons and all types of secondary packaging components (i.e., corrugated, adhesives, stretch films) to gable-top cartons, PET/HDPE bottles and glass packaging. Scott has considerable expertise with damage reduction programs, equipment interactions, lab test methods (specialty: distribution and damage analysis) and in-plant testing (CQV) methodologies. Scott is a seasoned and experienced problem solver at the plant level.

Rick Slawson

Rick has considerable experience in senior level financial and strategic planning roles with food and beverage applications. Rick's business development experience includes capital planning, new product, technology and innovation feasibility. Rick has designed and implemented cost reduction and efficiency programs for manufacturing, logistics, procurement and commercial programming functions. Rick also has a strong background in business risk analysis, financial cost system design and development, consumer and trade programming and data / statistical analysis.
