He has also helped organizations drive revenue growth through product expansion, geographic expansion, and new product implementation. David is experienced in mergers and acquisitions, helping prepare organizations to acquire or be acquired.
David received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Utah, both with an IT emphasis. With robust IT background, David is uniquely qualified to work with executive management, sales, operations, accounting, and information systems in driving business intelligence that accelerates performance.

Jerry Vance is the founder and managing partner of Preferred CFO. With over 15 years of experience providing CFO consulting services to over 300 organizations, and 28 years in the financial industry, Jerry is one of the most experienced outsourced CFOs in the United States.
Jerry Vance has prepared over 300 long-term forecasts for a wide range of industries, including SaaS and software, healthcare and pharmaceutical companies, hardware and construction, movie production, restaurants, education, direct sales, private equities, and more. Jerry has been instrumental in securing hundreds of millions of dollars of debt and equity financing, and has been integral to advising hundreds of companies in sustainable long-term growth.
Prior to specializing as a CFO Consultant, Jerry served as CFO and Controller for a number of public and private companies, some with international subsidiaries.

Jill Tavey has over 10 years of success in finance for various organizations in many industries, including a strong background in manufacturing. Before joining Preferred CFO, Jill worked on the finance team of a large manufacturing company located in Orem, Utah. In her roles as VP of Accounting, Controller, and Acting CFO, Jill helped initiate partnerships that resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings, negotiated and closed four debt agreements totaling $24MM, and established the KPIs, pricing models, and financial forecasting that helped support the company's success.

Wayne Vance is an experienced CFO with over 19 years of finance and accounting leadership within the SaaS industry. He has a passion for working with high-paced, high-growth technology companies.
Wayne began his career in Silicon Valley as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. He later joined Omniture at an early stage growing the business from $8M to $350M in revenue and 35 to 1,200 employees globally within 6 years. As Omniture emerged and matured as a SaaS company in the Silicon Slopes area, Wayne was involved in facilitating and integrating several acquisitions around the globe, completing an initial public offering (IPO) and sale to Adobe for $1.8B.
At Adobe, Wayne played a key financial role in transforming the organization into a subscription model and integrating the Omniture acquisition. Over the years, Wayne has performed in acting and full-time CFO roles for emerging ecommerce & tech companies, including 5 years with Omadi.
