Burkhard's real estate career comprises over 15 years of experience in structured finance, investment banking and in the planning and construction business. After working 7 years as an architect and project manager, he moved to the financial industry in 2001; joining Hypo Vereinsbank (HVB) and Hypo Real Estate (HRE). Following various roles in Risk Management he changed to Origination of HRE in 2005. As Senior Originator Commercial Real Estate at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank (formerly HRE) he was responsible for the underwriting of more than 2 billion real estate transactions in European markets.
Burkhard Schlickenrieder holds an MSc in Philosophy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Diploma in Engineering/Architecture from Dortmund University.
