Marc joined the practice in 2010 as a Dental Therapist after qualifying from Manchester University in 2009. He is Manchester based and works in various practices across the North West including Cheadle and Lytham St Annes. His twin brother is a dentist so a love of teeth runs in the family! Marc is a keen traveller and has spent time in Columbia, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong and Kenya.

Michael qualified from Liverpool University in 2000 and has worked in mostly private practices since 2006. He is very enthusiastic about the dental health of his patients and enjoys improving the appearance of his patients smiles. He has attended post-graduate training courses in endodontics (root-canal treatment) and has complete a postgraduate certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry. Away from dentistry, Michael enjoys swimming and going to the gym.

Having trained in the UK, Mr Akhtar graduated in 1984 with a bachelor degree in dental surgery. Mr Akhtar is highly qualified for his role as the implant surgeon at St Annes Private Dental Centre. He has both a dental and a medical degree. He has been a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery means MT Akhtar has extensive knowledge of the facial anatomy and we feel that he is the very best person to place your implants. Mr Akhtar has travelled the world to keep up to date with the latest research and he sits on the Specialist Training Committee in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. You might even meet him on the golf course. GDC Number: 59199

Sharon qualified from Liverpool University in 1982. She worked in Bispham Dental Practice and opened St Annes Private Dental Centre in 1988. She has built it up from a part time practice into a thriving full time practice giving patients access to a full range of dental treatments. In 2006 she was delighted to achieve Excel status with Denplan - a gold standard for dentistry. Since 2008 she has acted as an expert witness at dental hearings attending over 80 hearings to date. In any free time Sharon is a complete foodie, cooking, baking, eating and feeding friends and family.
