Darrell brings over thirty years experience in aviation to our organization. In addition to over 6,000 thousand flying hours in numerous types including turbo-props and business jets, Darrell has twenty-five years with the FAA as an air traffic controller and operations inspector. He has considerable experience with air shows having worked as an air traffic controller at Sun N Fun and Oshkosh. Darrell has been providing airboss and airshow planning services since 2004. He holds an Air Transport Pilot Certificate Multi-Engine, Commercial Pilot Single-Engine, Flight Instructor Certificate with single and multi-engine privileges and an Instrument Instructor Certificate. He is an experinced aerobatics instructor. For more than thirty years, Jeff has been a successful businessman and entrepreneur, having started his first business while he was still in college at the University of Tennessee. He was the president and owner of Hodge Markets from 1982 - 2007. Between 1999 and 2012 he operated Hodge Development and today is delighting East Tennessee palates with the TC Grill. Jeff has been flying since 1986 and calls it his "stress management technique."
