Erika Newsome is a Certified Medical Assistant and Cool Sculpting Specialist who earned her degree at Everest University. She is a co-owner of Solutions Weight Loss. She worked in urgent care for over 10 years before founding Solutions Weight Loss. Erika gained interest in weight loss 7 years ago and after failing to lose with traditional diet and exercise. She finally lost 20 lbs on the HCG Diet. She is enthusiastic about teaching others the benefits of HCG and a healthier way of eating. Everyone that works with Erika, has experienced success with the HCG weight loss program and are walking testimonies. Erika speaks both English and Spanish.

Maria is a co-owner and founder of Solutions Weight Loss along with Dr. Newsome and Erika Newsome. She earned her associates degree at Valencia Community College and brings a wealth of management experience from the hospitality industry. Additionally, she is a certified CoolSculpting specialist and phlebotomist. Because of her own weight loss challenges in the past, she makes a wonderful weight loss coach for others struggling to lose. Maria speaks both English and Spanish.

As a native of South Bend, Indiana, Dr. Newsome earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University at Bloomington in 1991. He also received his doctorate of medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1995. Following medical school, he moved to Florida and completed his residency in family practice at Florida Hospital in Orlando. He has been practicing in the Orlando since 1998. Dr. Newsome has spent the majority of his medical career practicing urgent care and emergency medicine. He also served as a medical director for US HealthWorks, the largest occupational medicine provider in the U.S. After years of treating acute illness, often related to the effects of obesity, he gained increasing interest in bariatric medicine. In particular he observed the struggle to lose weight experienced by friends and family. After undergoing further training in the management of obesity, he was successful in helping those around him to lose weight and decided to open his own weight loss clinic. Thus, Solutions Weight Loss was established in 2013. Dr. Newsome speaks English and some Spanish. He enjoys playing the bass guitar, movies, cruises and spending time with family and friends.
