Originally from Michigan, Austin moved to Ohio to pursue his music and education career. During his time at Ohio Northern University he had the opportunity to perform trombone all over. He's played in musicals, professional orchestras (The Lima Symphony Orchestra to be specific), and even jazz down in New Orleans. Performing is a huge part of his life, almost as much as teaching.
He is currently heading into his second year here at all of the Lima Catholic Community schools for band 5-12. He is a huge advocate for the programs we hold here and love to see students flourish in their music, life, and spirituality

Hello, My name is Eric Temple and and I am the Math and Technology Specialist. In my first year at St. Rose Catholic School I bring over twenty years of educational experience Including teaching stints at Lima Central Catholic High School, various local high schools, driving education and alternative school.
I live in Wapakoneta wth my wife of 30 years. I have two grown boys each with a fantastic wife. I enjoy painting, woodworking, web design and am an avid movie watcher.

Hello! My name is Jamie Sherrick. I became a nurse because I like working with people, hearing their stories and seeing gratification when they feel better. I graduated from Wapakoneta in 1999. I have mulitple nursing degrees including Apollo Pratical Nursing 1999, Rhodes State College 2010 and Ohio Northern 2014, with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree.
When I am not with my St. Rose family, I enjoy being with my husband, Scott, and our 3 children, Kaitlyn, Michael and Corbin . In my free time, I like to read and make crafts. .

Hello, my name is Jayme Knotts. This is my first year teaching in conjunction with Stephanie Riepenhoff in the Preschool-3 classroom.
In my free time I like to spend time with my children, Madalena, Louis and Mark Jr. , go to the gym and spend time with my other family and friends.
My name is Kathy Moore and I have been teaching at St. Rose since 1985 (39 years). I started at the junior high level and currently am the first grade tutor. I continue to be find teaching an extremely rewarding career and am thankful for my years at St. Rose. I strongly believe in Catholic education and find it a privilege to be a part of this very important mission of building Catholic, educational and social foundations.

Hello, My name is Kelli McPheron. I have been a member of St. Rose Church since I was a child. I am now a Preschool teacher here at St. Rose School. I have been teaching here since 2022. I graduated from Bath High School in 2012 and from Rhodes State College with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2014.
Before starting my career I married my high school sweetheart Alex and we started our family. I was a stay at home mom for 7 years but now that all 3 of my wonderful children attend St. Rose School I decided it was time to start my career, so I followed them here to St Rose.
Teaching has been my passion for years. When I wasn't teaching in a classroom I was at home teaching my own children. I love to watch the expression on a child's face when they learn something new. Seeing a young child accomplish so many new things in such a short period of time fills my heart with joy. They are so smart and love to learn at this age.
When I'm not in the classroom I enjoy spending quality time with my family. We love game nights and making forts for movie nights. We also love spending time at our local parks playing on the playgrounds and exploring the trails. My family and I are big outdoors people so our summers are spent camping and going on vacations to the beach.

Hello my name is Laurie Judy. I am a teacher in the 4/5 year old preschool room. I was born and raised in Lima. I attended St. Gerard's School. I graduated from LCC (‘73). I am married to Mark (Lima Senior ‘72). We have two sons, Shane and Brandon.
We spent 25 years in the Navy traveling to different parts of the country. We loved moving every four years to meet new people, explore new communities and learn about different cultures. After Navy retirement we moved to Dayton, OH where I worked at Wright Patterson AFB for 18 yrs.
I was a Preschool teacher for 10 years then moved to a management position in the Child and Youth Development Programs. We moved back to Lima in 2014 to be closer to our family and our grandchildren Taylor, Parker and Warren.
I love golf (mostly as a spectator now), working in my flower garden and watching my grandkids play sports. I also love to go to music concerts with my granddaughter. I am blessed to be a part of the St. Rose Catholic School Preschool program.

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to find out what's so special about St. Rose Catholic School! My name is Mary Paton and I have been the school secretary since the 1997-1998 school year. I can honestly say, "I love my mission!" Working in a Catholic school is not just a job; it's a way of life. I am very blessed to be a part of such a close knit, faith-filled and family oriented community. The students can always bring a smile to my face and the parents are great to work with. I will know the name of every student, parent and sometimes grandparent by the end of the first month of school.
I am a life-long member of St. Rose parish. My son, daughter and I all attended the grade school. My son, daughter and I are proud graduates of Lima Central Catholic. I was born and raised in Delphos, Ohio, and attended as well as worked at Delphos St. John. I graduated from Bowling Green State University and the University of Dayton.
Hello! It is an honor and privilege to work at St. Rose Catholic School as Principal. I was born and raised in Lima, Ohio. I attended St. John Catholic School until its closure, then attended St. Charles in Lima. I am a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School. My husband and I, along with our children, have been members of St. Rose Parish since returning to Lima after retirement from the military in 2010. We are blessed to call St. Rose Parish our home.
My husband and I have been married since 1987. Our two youngest children attended St. Rose in their junior high years, and all three of our children graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School. I have a Bachelor's Degree from The Ohio State University, and was a substitute teacher in the Catholic school system until being hired as the principal in 2014.
When I am not at school, I enjoy baking and cooking for my family and friends; collecting and reading cookbooks is another favorite pastime of mine!

Hello! My name is Stacee Johnson. From the influence of my grandparents being foster parents, I decided to go to college to work with children. I graduated from Wright State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. For the first few years, I substitute taught in many of the Lima area schools. In 2005, I followed a calling to becomes the 5th grade teacher at St. Rose Catholic School. I served in that position for 11 years. In 2016, I became the 2nd grade teacher. I feel especially grateful to be a part of my student's faith formation in such an important sacramental year! It is truly a joy and a blessing to be a part of the St. Rose Community.

Hello, my name is Mrs. Val Keller. I am the 8th grade homeroom teacher and ELA Teacher for grades 6 through 8. I will do my best to help your student strive beyond expectations. I was born and raised in Lima, Ohio. My husband John and I have been married since 1994 and we have one son, Nic, who attended St. Gerard Catholic School and graduated from Lima Central Catholic. Even though we only have one child, he keeps us very busy.
I received my Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University. I worked in the city schools for 8 years before going back to school to obtain my Master's degree with a concentration on Curriculum and Instruction of English and Language Arts from The University of Phoenix.
I am always excited to discover the challenges and accomplishments that happen through the school year. 6th graders explore the Six Traits of Writing; one trait at time, to gain a better understanding of the writing process. These students will also develop their reading comprehension and vocabulary skills as the year progresses. Grade 7 students will continue to work with the Six Traits of Writing building on their knowledge of the wring process. They will begin to learn how to condense their writing process down to fifty minutes which will benefit them in a formal testing situation. Like 6th grade, they will also continue to develop their reading comprehension and vocabulary skills. Eighth grade is a big year. This is a year filled with many changes, struggles and growing academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. Our students are preparing to enter high school next year, so we try to prepare them to be independent workers and thinkers. They will continue to use the condensed version for the writing process more fluently by expanding their vocabulary and reading comprehension skills even further. The 8th graders also have additional responsibilities within the Church and school.

Hello, my name is Nicole Haney . I am teaching 6-8th Grade Social Studies and Science. My passion for History and helping people led me to a career in Education. I have a BA in History and Sociology and a MA in Criminal Justice. My research focuses on the Holocaust, primarily the Dachua War Crimes Trials. I have two younger siblings, Makenna and Logan. I also have nine pets (three geckos, one snak e, one skink, two cats, a rabbit, and a tarantula). As you can see, I am a huge animal lover. I enjoy gardening and reading in my spare time as well.

Hello. I have been the Cafeteria Cook ahere at St. Rose for over 25 years. I've been marrid to Mark Link (St. Rose Athletic Director) for 35 years. We have four sons-Aaron, Joe, Matt and Michael all graduates of St. Rose and Lima Central Catholic. We now have 4 grandsons who are the light of my life.
I love being outdoors in nature, and the Great Smokey Mountains/Gatlinburg is one of my favorite places.
