SWANS

SWANS, a civic organization in Kenner, LA that spearheads events (Debutantes, Beaux Belle pageant, Mother's Celebration, and community support... The members of SWANS, Inc. have been at the forefront of wholesome community, religious, civic and social endeavors which have brought a cross- section of the African American communities together. This began with our first Mother's Day Celebration in 1953 and the first debutante ball in 1957. That legacy continues to this day, enhancing community life through humanitarian services.
