The Handle District manages a year round maintenance program to address litter, graffiti, event cleanup, trash can pickup and other related services in the one block area. The maintenance team also actively monitors dumpster issues, installs the street banners and waters the plant baskets... The organization continues to expand its reach to customers through the local media and social networks. From sponsoring and hosting events (with nearly 50,000 attendees over five years), to establishing new community partnerships (social groups, clubs, vendors, elected officials, etc.), to district branding efforts, the Handle District has worked hard to create a special neighborhood identity in Midtown...
