PRESENT VISTA MOUNTAIN WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION

The VMWMA annual meeting will be Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Methodist Church in Evant. Registration will begin at 9:30 am and the meeting at 10:00. There will be a short business meeting followed by two presentations. Robert Hawthorne, staff forester for Texas A&M Forestry Service, will give an update on oak diseases in our area. Patrick Kostecka and Kirby Irvin, Texas Parks and Wildlife Biologists, will give a talk on managing pastures in our area for white tailed deer. Everyone is welcome... Vista Mountain Wildlife Management Association [VMWMA] is a non-profit organization of private citizens in Central Texas who have voluntarily joined together to manage their properties for the benefit of wildlife. Wildlife Management Associations [WMAs] are operated by the Wildlife Division of Texas Parks and Wildlife.
