Ana G. Rodriguez is senior vice president and chief human resources officer for The Lubrizol Corporation. She joined Lubrizol in 2018, and is responsible for developing and executing a human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company. Ana brings to Lubrizol extensive experience in all aspects of human resources with global companies in healthcare, manufacturing and specialty chemicals. She has broad global experience, having held a three-year expatriate assignment in China, as well as previously living and working in Europe and Latin America. Prior to joining Lubrizol, Ana was the chief human resources officer at Sotera Health, PolyOne Corporation and Molex Incorporated. Additionally, Ana worked as corporate counsel in the legal departments at Amgen Inc., Tenet Healthcare Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Ana holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Long Beach. Ana serves as a trustee for the Great Lakes Theater and on the Board of Directors of the MetroHealth Foundation.

Deb Langer - SVP

Deb Langer is Senior Vice President, Corporate Ventures for The Lubrizol Corporation. In this role, Deb is responsible for growing the company through opportunities in adjacent markets. This includes identifying opportunities where Lubrizol can be unique, ​facilitating investments or partnerships to make these opportunities possible, delivering proof of concepts and working to commercialize and operationalize these ventures. Throughout her Lubrizol career, Deb has been on the forefront of growth and innovation, including imagining and building the origins of what is now Lubrizol Life Science, a business producing innovative science for beauty, home and healthcare applications. Most recently, Deb served as Corporate Vice President, Business Development and Consumer & Market Insights, and has held a variety of positions throughout the company spanning business management and technology leadership roles. Prior to joining Lubrizol, she worked at Eli Lilly and Company where she worked on the design and scale-up of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Deb Langer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemical/ Chemical Engineering from Purdue University. She holds 15 patents and has authored or co-authored 12 papers on specialized low emission fuels and engine oil products, which earned her the R&D 100 Award and the Nortec Innovation award for novel commercialized products. Additionally, Deb chairs the Industrial Advisory Board for the school of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University and volunteers teaching science and engineering to middle school students.

Eric R. Schnur - CEO, Chairman, President

Eric R. Schnur is chairman, president and chief executive officer of The Lubrizol Corporation where he leads more than 8,800 employees globally as they leverage science to help the world Move Cleaner, Create Smarter and Live Better. Eric joined Lubrizol in 1987 as a co-operative education student and was hired full time in 1989 as a development engineer in the R&D division. He has held a variety of positions across numerous product lines within Lubrizol, including technical and commercial roles, product manager, global business manager, vice president and general manager, and president of Lubrizol Advanced Materials. Throughout his career with Lubrizol, he has also worked at several company facilities, including the Lubrizol Additives site in Singapore, where he led engine oils marketing and technical services for Southeast Asia and Australia. Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1989 and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University in 1994. He serves on the board of directors for the American Chemistry Council and the Greater Cleveland Partnership and also serves on the Case Western Reserve University Board of Trustees.

J. Brian Pitts - CFO, SVP, Treasurer

Brian Pitts is senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of The Lubrizol Corporation. Brian joined Lubrizol in 1998 and has held a variety of accounting, finance and commercial positions during his Lubrizol tenure. Brian served as general manager of TempRite® Engineered Polymers until assuming his current role as Chief Financial Officer in March 2018. Throughout his career, Brian has worked at several company facilities, including the Lubrizol regional office in Shanghai, China, where he led the region's finance and accounting team. Prior to joining Lubrizol, Brian worked at specialty chemical manufacturers, Monsanto and Solutia, in various accounting roles. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee in 1993 and his MBA from the University of Alabama in 1995.​

John J. King - CIO, SVP

John J. King is senior vice president and chief information officer for The Lubrizol Corporation. John joined Lubrizol in 1989 working as an end-user support specialist before moving into information technology (IT) management. In 1997, John joined IBM as manager, worldwide e-commerce, where he led the rollout of IBM's personal systems group e-business strategy. Upon his return to Lubrizol in 2000, John held several IT management positions, including an assignment in Rouen, France. John was named vice president, information solutions for Lubrizol Additives in 2004. In the years that followed, John added various corporate responsibilities encompassing IT strategy, M&A integration and digital technology implementation before assuming his current role as Chief Information Officer. Throughout his career, John has been involved in key initiatives for the company, including global SAP implementations; web and business process strategies; manufacturing automation solutions and global communications to support internal and external customer needs. John holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio University and a master's degree in business from Case Western Reserve University. He serves on the advisory board of SafeGuard Technology, the board of directors for Fairhill Partners, the board of directors for DigitalC and the board of directors for Breakthrough Schools in Cleveland.

Mike Vaughn

Mike Vaughn is senior vice president, operations for The Lubrizol Corporation. He joined Lubrizol in 1988 as an operations supervisor and held a variety of operations, business development and business manager roles for vinyl intermediates and plastics until 1999, when he became business director, Americas Plumbing for the TempRite® product line. In 2003, Mike moved to Noveon® Consumer Specialties as the global Carbopol® manufacturing director where he led the team responsible for the successful expansion and modernization of the Lubrizol Calvert City, KY manufacturing plant. Mike was named vice president and general manager of Estane® Engineered Polymers in 2005 and vice president of Engineered Polymers, encompassing Estane and TempRite,in 2009. In these roles, he helped position Lubrizol as the first multinational TPU producer in China with the successful startup of its Songjiang China Estane TPU plant. He also led the acquisition and related integration of the Dow Chemical TPU business, as well as the integration of SK Chemical TPU assets. He was appointed assistant division head, operations in June 2011 and to his current position in June 2012. Prior to joining Lubrizol, Mike worked as an operations engineer for Exxon Chemical Americas. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Kentucky in 1984 and his MBA from Vanderbilt University in 1996. Mr. Vaughn serves as trustee of the Cleveland Zoological Society. Previously, he served on the boards of the Plastic Pipe and Fittings Association and the Marshall County, KY Chamber of Commerce.

Rick Tolin

Rick Tolin is senior vice president and president of Lubrizol Advanced Materials, where he oversees a team developing and enabling scientific innovations that improve the performance and reliability of products in the health, beauty, home, medical, pharmaceutical, industrial, building and construction industries, among others.​ Rick joined the company in 1993 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and international business management within Lubrizol's coatings and personal care businesses. In 2011, he was named vice president and general manager of the personal and home care division of Lubrizol Advanced Materials. He was appointed to his current position in 2016. Prior to joining Lubrizol, Rick worked at specialty chemical firms RITA Corporation and Carroll Scientific in technical, sales and business management roles. Rick attended St. Joseph's College and the University of Notre Dame where he received Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and in Mathematics.

Suzanne F. Day - SVP

Suzanne F. Day is senior vice president, and chief legal and ethics officer for The Lubrizol Corporation. She joined Lubrizol in 1998 to handle litigation throughout the corporation. Suzanne became vice president, general counsel and chief ethics officer in 2011. She became senior vice president and chief legal officer in 2015 and senior vice president, corporate responsibility in 2020. Along with her legal responsibilities, Suzanne oversees the company's corporate responsibility team, comprised of three sections - ethics, sustainability and regulatory services. Prior to joining Lubrizol, she was an associate at the Cleveland law firm of Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP. She is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Texas. Suzanne has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University. She serves as secretary for the board of trustees of Western Reserve Academy, an independent boarding and day high school in Hudson, Ohio.
