EU - Ind Cooperation Forum (EICF) is an independent non-profit think tank based in Chennai. This think tank was started to address the lack of adequate focus between the European Union and India as both were focussing their energies on relationship with the US and China. Addressing this has become a dream for K C Sundaram, the Founder - Managing Trustee of Sundaram Foundation, having experienced a vibrant think tank culture in the EU. So this think tank was founded in January 2014 with the initial support from the Sundaram Foundation. EICF is incorporated as a public charitable trust in Chennai. K C Sundaram, Hari Subramaniam and Poornima Chandra Venkatesh are the founding trustees... EICF would strive to be the leading forum for debate on EU - India relationship and foster closer relationship and better understanding between policy makers, institutions, diplomatic community, academic community, business community, trade unions, NGOs, and other civil society actors as well as media...
