Emil's initially opened in December of 2001 as a casual, fine dining restaurant. Chef owner, Georges Martin and his wife, Tammy dreamed of bringing fine quality dining to the middle Tennessee area. From day one Emil's was labeled by the community as a "French restaurant" and Chef Georges as a "French Chef". While Georges is indeed a native of France and was indeed trained in France, his culinary expertise spans all cultural and social boundaries. Actually, Chef Georges specializes in fresh food prepared honestly with consistency, elegance and love. From the classic half pound American burger to the southern boneless fried chicken with milk gravy to the more French inspired mussels in white wine and garlic broth Georges will prepare each dish with sophistication...
