Daniel J. Hennessy - Chief Legal Officer

A new addition to the Garfield Public/Private team, Daniel J. Hennessy brings a fresh perspective and insight. Immediately prior to joining the Garfield team, Daniel held a position at the Vatican Museum, coordinating the international network of patrons that finance the majority of its art restoration projects. With a background in Liberal Arts and Philosophy, extensive experience with non-profit, mission-driven organizations both in the United States and abroad, as well as spoken and written fluency in Spanish and Italian, Daniel is quick to evaluate any situation from different angles, and always with a knack for critical thinking. His international experience, dealing with people of diverse cultures, has given him a keen ability to listen, as well as communicate clearly and effectively. Over the years, Daniel has led and formed part of numerous committees for major cultural initiatives such as Menorah: Worship, History, Myth, the first ever joint exhibit between the Vatican Museum and the Synagogue of Rome; and the Fatherhood and Leadership Initiative in Philadelphia. One of the best "deal-making" attorneys in the nation, Dan Hennessy represents the company in the negotiation of various corporate and partnership ventures and assists in ownership entity structuring and financing documents for the turnkey delivery of facilities for Garfield and its public clients and private partners. He also assists in the negotiation of contracts for facility design, construction, and operations, as well as ground leases and facility leases. Dan was a founding partner in 1973 of the law firm Hughes & Luce, LLP (originally Luce Hennessy Smith & Castle) and has practiced law in Texas since 1970.

Glenn Garfield

Glenn serves as President of Garfield Corporation, a licensed Texas Real Estate Brokerage and an affiliated company of Garfield Public/Private LLC. Prior to Garfield Corporation, he served as a Project Coordinator for Garfield Traub Development. Glenn has a long and varied background in real estate, including commercial and residential, and touching on all aspects of the industry: brokerage, financing, development, project management, personnel, etc. Glenn's quiet, organized, get-it-done-today approach makes him a key part of the Garfield team's success.

Greg Garfield - President

As President and Co-Founder of Garfield Public/Private LLC, Mr. Garfield's broad scope of responsibilities includes strategic planning, deal structuring, financial, legal, and political problem-solving, financial and investment analysis, document negotiation, development management, design participation, and construction, operations, and maintenance planning. His 23+ years of real estate experience includes leadership of or participation in the development of 44 properties, the planning of more than $4.5 billion of facilities, and the negotiation and structuring of over $1.5 billion in real estate debt and equity, naming rights and fundraising for public-private developments.

Laura Galbreath

Laura has over 25 years of experience in design, management, and operations at large scale architecture and engineering design firms. During her most recent years of experience, she held the position of COO at a $100M+ revenue/year national A&E services firm. Prior to her role as COO, Laura was the project executive on hotel development projects around the world with a diverse mix of global full-service and luxury hotel brands. Her expertise and passion for hospitality is a great addition to our practice. Laura joined Garfield Public/Private at the beginning of 2024 as a Senior Vice-President of Development and focuses her efforts within our hospitality development group.

Mark Bullard - SVP

Mr. Bullard brings over 18 years of experience overseeing the successful completion of hospitality, office, and mixed-use projects. An Architect by training, and a hospitality leader at BOKA Powell LLC, he was involved in all phases of design and construction across a variety of branded hotels. As Senior Vice President for Garfield/Public Private LLC, he leverages this experience to manage the development of hotels, convention and conference centers, and mixed-use properties.

Matt Edwards - SVP

Mr. Edwards's scope of responsibilities includes strategic planning, feasibility and programming, budget and schedule management, project team problem solving, contract review and negotiation, oversee design phases, and monitor construction progress. With over 15 years of real estate and development experience, Mr. Edwards is Garfield's most experienced project executive in performing arts centers, theaters, and cultural venues. His expertise is working with non-profit organizations and public/private developments focused on multi-purpose venues and culturally significant projects representing over $2 billion in development costs.

Raymond Garfield - Chairman

As Chairman and Co-Founder of Garfield Public/Private LLC, Mr. Garfield's focuses primarily on leading the financing and legal team to engineer creative financing structures and secure capital for public/private developments. Over 40 years, his experience has included the development or disposition of more than 9000 acres of urban properties totaling over $1 billion and the financing or sale/acquisition of major properties totaling over $6 billion nationwide.

Rick Wilczak - SVP

Rick Wilczak has 40+ years of international design and construction management leadership experience and has worked for Garfield's companies since 2003, overseeing projects from $60 million to over $200 million in value. He is Garfield's senior and most seasoned project executive, with extensive experience in civil, mechanical, electrical, structural and all minor trades. A civil design engineer by education and training, Rick was most recently the on-site construction project manager for Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City, UT and the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences in Lubbock, TX, which opened in 2021.

Sandra Ortega - VP

Sandra Ortega has over 14 years of experience in managing design and construction projects. She provides management services, coordination, and support to projects ranging in complexity from performing arts centers to museums. Mrs. Ortega understands client priorities and is skilled at forming collaborative relationships with owners, consultants, and construction partners. Services managed include, project reporting, procurement of professional services, maintaining project budgets and scheduling both design and construction tasks.

Steve Galbreath

As Chief Development Officer and Head of Design & Construction for Garfield Public/Private LLC, Mr. Galbreath manages the development of hotels, convention and conference centers, entertainment and mixed-use properties. Joining Garfield in 2016, he brought 22 years as a leader in the global hospitality sector for RTKL Associates in the Americas. In addition to the design of hotels and resorts, his experience has centered around hospitality and gaming components of large-scale, mixed-use developments combining retail, entertainment, sports, residential, office, hotel, and other uses known for their commercial success and lasting sense of place.
