Received her education from Stanford University with a BA degree in Political Science. Recognizing that the geo-political format was already heavily entrenched in homogenization, with little or no regard for the creative spirit, nature, or the well-being of the planet, lonagil set out to make her own political statement. She focused her energy on design, woodworking, and all the various skills necessary for building a home in a Art Nouveau / Craftsmen - like style, by using many reclaimed architectural details with newly drafted creations. She was trained as a master cabinetmaker, schooled in general construction, with cross-over knowledge in all the building trades. However, when assisting her daughter with an art project, she found the magic of paint on paper like the building blocks of a new world. It was then that she recognized how art had always been coursing through her veins, driving each and every endeavor. She is an untrained artist per se, but her penchant for line and form..
