OMTI was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in YR 2000 as: "Harris Educators and Associates: Research, Training, Evaluation & Services, Inc. (HEARTS) and restructured in 2002 as a sustaining effort of the $3.3 million Compassion Capital Fund Demonstration Program grant (CCF) administered by CJH Educational Grant Services, Inc. The local 3-year CCF initiative was called "MISSION TREE." The agency adapted this name and later officially changed to "One Mission Tree, Inc." Restructuring included the addition of faith and community-based components as well as addressing emotional well-being support for children and families... ONE MISSION TREE, Inc. (OMTI) implements federal grant services on behalf of vulnerable populations. Combined with the expertise of other nonprofits, school districts, and business professionals, the OMTI offers consultation services for community projects and mission-related social programs.
