After graduating college, Aspen realized her passion did not lie with chemistry, but instead with compassion, support, and helping others. Deciding to quit her stable job in a chemistry lab to pursue graduate school was the best decision she could have made and taught her the importance of following your own passions, regardless of criticism. She graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She jokes that she is just collecting degrees that begin with the letter C.
