Mona Lisa Touch

  • Contents Mona Lisa Touch
Skin MD Dermatology specializes in the exciting new MonaLisa Touch® laser therapy. The Mona Lisa Touch laser is a painless procedure that specifically addresses the treatment of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM). Hormonal changes after menopause can cause vaginal thinning which often results in dry and painful vaginal symptoms (especially during intercourse) and can also lead to urinary incontinence. After 2-3 painless treatments, we see significant improvement in vaginal dryness and irritation, decreased pain with intercourse, and even less urinary incontinence. The physicians atSkin MD Dermatology are dedicated to improving these symptoms and our patients' sexual health, vaginal comfort, and quality of life. SKin MD Dermatology works hard to provide every patient with the skilled, compassionate care she deserves. When a patient visits, we will take the time to listen to the patient's concerns and identify her specific symptoms so we can help the patient work toward optimal genital health. When you have exhausted or grown discouraged with over the counter lubricants or prescription hormonal treatments, this treatment may be your answer. Please be sure to have your regular well woman exam and screening with your gynecologist or primary care physician.
