Southeast Maintenance, Inc.'s training concepts were developed by Carl A. Smiley, Sr. when he was employed by Weyerhaeuser Company as a Plant Engineer in 1972. As a plant engineer and maintenance manager, he had difficulty finding effective technical training for his maintenance personnel. He proceeded to develop training programs in hydraulics & mechanical power transmission that were applicable to specific mill machinery. Steve Peacher came on board in 1995 with 12 years of mill maintenance experience and is carrying on Carl's successfully proven training techniques...
