For over 30 years, Syntec has been building exceptional products and lasting relationships. We started Syntec Industries in 1986 as a producer of carpet for the marine industry. By 1990, we had our first economic slowdown and began looking for other markets to diversify into and provide us a more sustainable growth and development for our company. Our decision was to begin servicing the RV and van conversion industries. Within a couple of years, we were selling carpet to the van conversion market and making headway into working our way into the RV market... By the late 1990's we were producing about 65% of the marine carpet sold in the United States and decided to add other products to our existing product base. This is when we entered the upholstery vinyl business. As this grew, we added other products and began to develop our "Synergy Program" that has grown tremendously.
