The Red Door Resort is a family and angler oriented resort on the north shore of Lake Mille Lacs in central Minnesota. Located only two hours north of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, the resort offers premium lodging in our cabins, motel, and fish house and wheel house rentals. We also offer seasonal site rental for your RV or fish house. Though the exterior of our popular Stone House dates from around 1910, we here at the resort work tirelessly to update and improve facilities and enrich the overall guest experience. Since the 1960's, four different families have owned and operated the Red Door, and though the ownership changed over the years, the associated sincerity and personal touch has not... The Red Door Resort is supremely situated in the sweet spot of Mille Lacs. In fact, we're the only major resort on the North Shore of your favorite lake!
